Carol Marcus received her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley in 1979, and Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon in 1983. She has been a licensed architect in California since 1986.

Bill Willers received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California , Berkeley in 1984. He has been a licensed architect in California since 1988.
